White Sonora is one of the oldest wheat varieties in North America offering the most flavorful germ and bran, and now we’ve packaged it just for you! Wheat germ is a nutritional powerhouse packed with vitamins and minerals to boost your immune system and keep your bones and heart healthy and strong, while wheat bran is an excellent source of fiber, benefiting your digestive system.
Add flavor, texture, and nutrients to any baked good when you substitute up to 25% of the flour in a recipe with our White Sonora Germ & Bran.

Baking Tip: Substitute up to 25% of the flour in a recipe with Wheat Germ & Brand. First, soak the blend in some of the liquid from the recipe for 15-30 minutes before adding it in. This will soften the bran and germ, making it less abrasive and less likely to cut through the gluten (which would affect the rise on your baked good).
Refrigerate or freeze immediately to preserve the natural oils. This product can be stored in your fridge or freezer for up to one year after it’s made and packaged (but we doubt you’ll wait that long to make something delicious with it!).
