Dating back to the 18th century, our Raw Cracked Oats are a rare hulless, or “naked,” variety that is historically tough to find and farm. With a sweet, buttery flavor and the texture of steel cut oats, they're completely untreated and preserved in oxygen-free packaging, so it's like you're eating them straight from the field!

Another great way to start the day with oats
These oats are absolutely delicious, especially when toasted beforehand, as recommended on the package. They are slightly nutty in flavor and go very well with honey and yogurt (the way I eat all of my cereals). Don’t crack up over Cracked Oats—just follow the instructions to taste a brekkie from heaven!
I love oatmeal and have had this for breakfast since I was a kid. I saw this online, cracked oats, Hayden. And decided to try it. Love it! I heat the oats up before cooking and add a little garlic salt and is it good with some vermont maple suryp. Will continue to buy more. Plus I believe in how it is grown and processed, very good Hayden mills!
I bought the cracked oats for a topping on my homemade bread. Added a wonderful flavor and look to my bread. Love it.
I’m increasing my fiber content to combat hi ldl. These oats make the fight winnable and palatable.
Love products, concerned about packaging
First, the cracked oats are delicious and unique. The aroma and texture are superior to oatmeal products on grocery shelf. As with all Hayden products, however, I am concerned with the use of plastic packaging. It is convenient and retains freshness, but I encourage you to read about the toll it is taking on the environment and our bodies. Many of your competitors, such as Central Milling, are taking steps to address this problem. I hate to part ways, but may have to find a greener alternative.
