Brought to North America by Spanish missionaries around 1640, White Sonora was first planted in the Sonoran Desert, near the present-day United States-Mexico border. It has a mild, sweet flavor ideal for any baked good.
Our All Purpose Flour contains stone milled, lightly sifted White Sonora whole grain flour blended with high-protein bread flour for performance that can be freely substituted 1:1 in your favorite recipes. Its sweet essence and creamy flavor will quickly become your pantry favorite, making the other flours jealous.

Gluten Sensitive
I am gluten sensitive but I can eat this flour... how wonderful it is to make delicious gluten filled things in my home again! It's a great tasting flour too!

First impressions
I got some AP and bread flour and white Sonoran wheat berries. I made some sourdough sprouted wheat Berry loaves and some wet focaccia. I like your product and the bread is good.


just darn good flour
This is just darn good flour. I found this a few years ago when I was trying to accommodate my wife's gluten sensitivity. She thought she would be giving up gluten entirely. When I found this cookie recipe that used the flour I discovered a lot of people could enjoy the flour and not have a sensitivity. Yay, my life of cooking was not going to be reduced to a gluten free existence. I gave it a try and things were working out fine. Combining the flour with the polenta makes a super great cornbread. Friends of ours call it cornbread cake. Also the polenta is great as polenta too. So happy I found Hayden Mills. Thanks for the excellent products.
