Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie

This classic recipe incorporates our stone ground White Sonora wheat to add a beautiful, sweet flavor to the cookie base.

What You'll Need

3 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 cups unsalted butter

1 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In a medium sized bowl whisk together All Purpose Flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.

  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer or with an electric hand beater, cream together butter and sugars until pale and fluffy. Add in eggs one at a time, beating well between each addition. Add vanilla and mix until fully incorporated.

  4. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and beat until combined. Add the chocolate chips.

  5. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough on a cooking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake 8-10 minute, or until just golden.

  6. Enjoy with others!
