NEW! Compostable Bag
Flour that feeds your baking. A bag that feeds your garden.
We're testing something out: a limited run of our White Sonora All Purpose Flour packed in a new compostable bag that gives something back to your soil!
No plastic. No hidden waste. Just the same freshly milled goodness you already love wrapped in packaging that's as wholesome as our stone milled flour.
If you love it as much as we do, we're committed to bringing compostable packaging to more products in the future.

The Full-Circle Bag
After our All Purpose Flour becomes your next batch of biscuits, the bag becomes your next harvest of tomatoes. We're starting small with a limited run, so snag one while you can, and help us bring compostable packaging to more of our flour lineup.
1. Home Compost
Drop the empty bag into your compost bin with kitchen scraps and garden clippings. It breaks down in about 6 months and fully composts within a year.
2. Local Composting Program
If your community picks up food scraps, this bag is welcome right alongside your vegetable peels.
3. Drop It Off in Gilbert
Bring your empty bag to our Gilbert Shop. We've partnered with Recycle City to compost into soil that nourishes local farms.

Why does it cost more?
Simply put, conventional plastic is cheap because the environment quietly absorbs the real cost. Our compostable bag is priced just $1 more, and that dollar goes toward sourcing the most advanced, earth-friendly materials available today so nothing harmful is left behind.
How does it work?
When you toss this bag into your compost bin, nature takes over. It breaks down into tiny pieces, bacteria get to work, and what's left is rich, fertile compost ready to feed your next garden.
How long does it take to break down?
The packaging is designed to disintegrate within 6 months and reach full decomposition within 12 months.
What is is made from?
Our new compostable bag is a blend of plant-based materials and compostable fibers. While it does use plant byproducts, the amount is tiny, less than 0.01% of the world's crops, no one's dinner is being sacrificed for your flour bag.
What if I don't have a compost bin?
You can give the bag to a local composting program or bring it to our Gilbert Shop! But if it ends up in the trash, it's designed to stay stable and won't release the same harmful gases that organic waste typically does in a landfill.
Does it actually help my garden?
It does! As the bag breaks down, it helps maintain the natural fertility of your soil. This makes it perfect for anyone who loves to bake and loves to garden. (We have a feeling that's you.)
